Apple's Got Three AI Wearables in the Works, Apparently

So Apple's been pretty quiet on the AI front lately, right? Sure, they've got Siri and all that, but while OpenAI and Google are duking it out with their chatbots, Apple's been... well, doing Apple things. Turns out they've been busy cooking up something different - three AI wearables that might actually change how we think about smart devices.

Look, I've been watching the AI hardware space closely, and honestly, most of it's been pretty underwhelming. Remember that Humane AI Pin from last year? Or the Rabbit R1? Yeah, not exactly flying off the shelves. But Apple has this annoying habit of showing up late to the party and then somehow making everyone forget who got there first. Think about it - they weren't first with smartphones, tablets, or smartwatches either.

Here's what's interesting though. While everyone else is trying to cram ChatGPT into everything with a battery, Apple seems to be taking a different approach. The word on the street is they're working on three distinct wearable devices, each with its own AI twist. Now, I don't have the specifics yet (Apple's Fort Knox-level secrecy is still intact), but knowing Apple, they're probably focusing on practical, everyday uses rather than trying to impress tech nerds like me.

What really gets me excited is the timing. We're in early 2026 now, and the AI hardware market is still trying to find its footing. Meta's smart glasses are doing okay, but nothing's really captured mainstream attention yet. If Apple drops three AI wearables sometime in 2027, backed by their ecosystem and that Apple magic they somehow pull off, we might finally see AI hardware that normal people actually want to use.

The big question is whether Apple can avoid the pitfalls that killed other AI gadgets. Battery life, actual usefulness, and not looking like a complete dork while wearing them - these are the real challenges. But hey, if anyone can figure it out, it's probably the company that convinced us to talk to our wrists.
